(Valley Forge, Pa.) – DryRight Fiberglass Insulation from CertainTeed Corporation is now available in sizes that meet the needs of commercial applications, offering a complete solution for buildings where the risk of moisture and mold growth is of concern.

Ideal for the commercial market place, DryRight is a first-of-its kind insulation that helps prevent moisture from entering the wall cavity and also allows moisture to escape, providing the ultimate protection against mildew and mold. DryRight combines CertainTeed’s dependable, thermally-efficient fiberglass insulation with MemBrain technology, a revolutionary vapor retarder that changes its permeability based on seasonal relative humidity conditions.

“DryRight surpasses the capability of standard insulation products with its ability to provide real world moisture control,” says John Kendz, National Accounts Manager for CertainTeed’s Insulation Group. “This revolutionary product fully replaces commonly specified insulation products, yet performs so well, that it can be used in museums, hospitals and schools where significant attention is given to proper design in order to control moisture in wall systems.”

As with other CertainTeed fiberglass insulation, DryRight is GREENGUARD certified. It is regularly tested for low emissions of formaldehyde, VOCs, respirable particles and other pollutants using the most stringent environmental protocols. Available R-13 and R-19, DryRight comes in batts or rolls that are 16 or 24 inches wide and 96 inches long.

“DryRight Fiberglass Insulation is a smart choice for developers who are interested in building sound, sustainable structures that are energy efficient and help contribute to good indoor air quality,” says Howard Deck, President of CertainTeed’s Insulation Group.  “DryRight is also a key component for builders looking to achieve LEED-NC Credits.”
