Fort
Wayne, IN – The versatile
Envision Series Outdoor Split Heat Pump from WaterFurnace International, Inc. is
designed for indoor and outdoor installations. Featured as part of the WaterFurnace
exhibit at HVAC Comfortech 2008 (Booth #819), Sept. 11-13, in Atlanta, GA, the split
unit offers the highest operating efficiencies in the industry and is the only
geothermal outdoor split that uses environmentally friendly R410-A refrigerant.
Available in 2- to 6-ton capacities, the Envision Series Outdoor
Split uses a two-speed Copeland Scroll UltraTech compressor to deliver energy
savings and improved comfort. Mounted on sound-reducing grommets, the
compressor is wrapped in a compressor blanket to provide whisper-quiet
operation.
Easily accessible controls and connections for refrigerant
and water piping make this unit simple to install in a wide variety of
applications. The unit is compatible with the new Envision Series Air Handler,
connected to the indoor air handler via refrigerant lines and control wiring.
Servicing the unit is also easy thanks to internal status
lights in the control box, a ComfortAlert control module that signals
compressor faults to the thermostat and additional onboard diagnostics. The
unit also features a removable panel for access to electrical components, an
easily accessible thermal expansion valve, brass, swivel-type water connections
that connect to optional internal loop pump(s) assembly or three-way valves,
and high- and low-pressure service ports in the refrigerant circuit.
The Envision Outdoor Split’s heavy
gauge steel cabinet is painted with durable powder coat paint for long-lasting
beauty and protection. For outdoor installations that require an aesthetic
touch, an optional decorative rock cover is available in four colors, including
brown granite, gray granite, salt and pepper and charcoal basalt.
